Note: Refers to the most popular and common form of stereoscopic photographs, which are double photographs of the same image taken from two slightly different perspectives. Stereographs are distinctive among other stereoscopic photographs because they are photographic prints mounted on cards, while other types could be daguerreotypes, negatives, or unmounted prints. From 1856 they were produced with twin-lens cameras, creating a three dimensional effect when viewed through a stereoscope. Stereographs were especially popular during the Victorian period.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de meest populaire en meest voorkomende vorm van stereofoto's, een tweetal foto's van dezelfde afbeelding genomen vanuit twee perspectieven, waarbij het verschil tussen het ene en het andere heel klein is. Het verschil met andere stereofoto's, zoals daguerreotypieën, negatieven of losse afdrukken, is dat bij stereokaarten fotografische afdrukken zijn bevestigd op kartonnen kaarten. Vanaf 1856 werden stereokaarten gemaakt met twee-ogige camera's, waardoor een uitzonderlijk driedimensionaal effect tot stand kwam als het resultaat werd bekeken via een stereoscoop. De kaarten waren enorm populair in de victoriaanse periode. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere a la forma más popular y común de fotografías esteroscópicas, que corresponden a fotografías dobles de una misma imagen captadas con una perspectiva levemente distinta. Los estereogramas de distinguen de otras fotografías esteroscópicas debido a que son copias fotográficas montadas sobre tarjetas, mientras que otros tipos pueden incluir daguerrotipos, negativos o copias sin montar. Desde 1856 se producen con cámaras binoculares creando un notable efecto tridimensional al ser observadas a través de un estereoscopo. Fueron una manía popular en el periodo victoriano.
