Note: Golden ornaments in the form of seals attached to special decrees issued by Popes, Byzantine Emperors, and later by European monarchs in the Middle Ages and Renaissance. The term originally referred to a golden seal itself, but came to be applied to the entire decree: for the proper name of a particular decree, use the CONA Iconography Authority or another authority.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 印章形式的黃金飾品，黏附於帝王所頒布之特別照書上，原為羅馬天主教皇與拜占庭帝國皇帝所使用，之後中世紀與文藝復興時期之歐洲君主亦沿襲此形式。本詞彙原指黃金印璽本身，但後來則轉而指詔書整體。至於特殊法令的正式名稱，請參考CONA Iconography Authority或其他權威檔。 |
