| Dutch ..... Boomrijke gebieden die dikwijls een grens of een barrière vormen, maar voor het overige nauwelijks worden gebruikt. Meestal kleiner en minder wild dan 'wouden'. Voor landschappen die gedomineerd worden door bomen en die voor meerdere doeleinden gebruikt worden, gebruik liever 'bosgebieden'. |
| German ..... Landstrich, der mit Bäumen bestanden ist und oftmals als Grenze oder Barriere fungiert, ansonsten aber nur minimal genutzt wird; kleiner und weniger wild als ein Urwald. Für eine Landschaft, die von Bäumen beherrscht wird und verschiedentlich genutzt werden kann, ist "Waldland" zu verwenden. |
| Spanish ..... Porciones de tierra con árboles, que funcionan frecuentemente como límites o barreras, y que fuera de eso son mínimamente utilizados. Son más pequeñas y menos salvajes que las selvas. Para paisajes dominados por árboles y que poseen varios usos, prefiera "monte”. |
