Note: Creamware that is lead-glazed, and originating ca. 1763. It was developed by Josiah Wedgwood and named after Queen Charlotte. Its popularity eventually led to the disappearance of the English, tin-glazed earthenware industry.

| Dutch ..... Engels aardewerk met loodglazuur dat circa 1763 werd ontwikkeld door Josiah Wedgwood. De naam is ontleend aan koningin Charlotte. De populariteit van dit aardewerk leidde tot het verdwijnen van de Engelse tinglazuuraardewerk-industrie. |
