| Dutch ..... Vaten, meestal van keramiek, gebruikt voor het vervoer van chicha of andere stoffen; vastgemaakt met touwen en gedragen op de rug. Voorbeelden worden gevonden bij de Mapuche-cultuur. Het kunnen historische items zijn, maar ze worden ook in de moderne tijd wel gemaakt.

| Spanish ..... El mesheng es un recipiente cerámico mapuche de base apuntada o recta con cuerpo globular ú ovalado de cuello cilíndrico y sin asas, usados para transportar líquidos, función para la cual, se ataba con cordeles de boqui a la espalda. Se encuentra documentada su utilización en tiempos históricos, pero en la actualidad se ha reemplazado por contenedores de plástico. Cántaro aovado desprovisto de asas de menor tamaño y acondicionado para el transporte de chicha, acondicionado con tirantes de fibras vegetales y textiles y que era tradicionalmente acarreado por la mujer sobre su espalda. |
