Dutch ..... Malagassische lijkwade van geweven zijde, katoen, bast of raffia en vaak versierd met borduursel of kralen, gebruikt om stoffelijke overschotten in te wikkelen voor herbegrafenisrituelen. Letterlijk betekent de term 'rode stof', hoewel rood niet de dominante kleur hoeft te zijn. |
Spanish ..... Mortajas de Madagascar, tejidas con seda, algodón, estera o rafia y a menudo decoradas con bordados o cuentas, usadas para envolver cuerpos, para el entierro ritual. El término se traduce literalmente como "tela roja", sin embargo el rojo no corresponde siempre al color dominante. |
