Organizations (hierarchy name) |
|
Note: The Organizations hierarchy contains terms for the roles of groups of people organized for a purpose, typically characterized by a more or less constant membership, and often a body of officers or functionaries and established activities (e.g., "architectural firms," "religious orders," "churches (institutions)," "schools (institutions)"). Included are terms for public organizations such as social services, private organizations such as firms, and those that can be either such as charities. Also included are administrative and political organizations that incorporate a geographic area and general population as well as an organized administration (e.g., "nations," "kingdoms"). Relation to other hierarchies: Terms for roles for groups of people that do not constitute organizations (e.g., "social classes") are found in the People hierarchy. Terms for collections of objects brought together and managed by an organization or person (e.g., "corporate collections") are found in the Object Groupings and Systems hierarchies. Terms for settlements (e.g., "cities") and districts (e.g., "school districts") which include an organization but which emphasize a concept of physical space takes precedence are found in the Settlements and Landscapes and the Built Complexes and Districts hierarchies respectively. Terms for built works (e.g., "churches (buildings)," "schools (buildings)") that house an organization are found in the Built Works hierarchy.

De hiërarchie van Organisaties bevat termen voor de rollen van groepen mensen die voor een doel zijn georganiseerd, meestal gekenmerkt door een min of meer constant lidmaatschap, en vaak een aantal functionarissen of functionarissen en gevestigde activiteiten (bijvoorbeeld ‘architectenbureaus’, ‘religieuze ordes, ‘‘ kerken (instellingen), ‘‘ scholen (instellingen) ‘). Inbegrepen zijn termen voor openbare organisaties zoals sociale diensten, particuliere organisaties zoals bedrijven en die beide zijn, zoals liefdadigheidsinstellingen. Ook inbegrepen zijn bestuurlijke en politieke organisaties die een geografisch gebied en algemene bevolking omvatten, evenals een georganiseerde bestuur hebben (bijv. ‘naties’, ‘koninkrijken’). La jerarquía de las organizaciones contiene los descriptores para los grupos de gente organizada para un propósito, caracterizado típicamente por la calidad del un miembro más o menos constante, un cuerpo de funcionarios, y un sistema de regulaciones para sus actividades y conducta. Están incluidas las organizaciones públicas tales como servicios sociales, las organizaciones privadas tales como empresas, y las de caridad. También se incluyen las organizaciones administrativas y políticas, como naciones y reinos que incorporen a un área geográfica y a población en general así como una administración organizada. Relación a otras jerarquías: Los descriptores para los grupos de gente que no constituye las organizaciones (ej.; clases sociales) se encuentran en la jerarquía de la gente.
