Een kleurloze of geelachtige rokende, bijtende, in water oplosbare vloeistof, HNO3, die krachtige oxiderende eigenschappen heeft, en die gewoonlijk wordt verkregen uit ammoniak of uit chilisalpeter. Deze vloeistof wordt voornamelijk gebruikt tijdens de fabricage van explosieven en kunstmest. |
Spanish ..... Líquido soluble en agua, incoloro o amarillento, que emite vapores, cáustico y corrosivo, HNO3, con fuerte capacidad oxidante y que se obtiene habitualmente del amoníaco o del salitre. Se utiliza fundamentalmente para fabricar explosivos y fertilizantes.
