| Chinese (traditional) ..... 一般材料類別，指經紡織、製氈、打結、搓捻或其他製作程序使其緊密黏合成形的自然纖維或人造纖維。傳統上，紡織材料並不包括纖維板、紙張、混凝紙漿與莎草紙，其雖亦為纖維製品，但通常被視為不同種材料。關於由紡織材料製成的物品，請見「紡織品」下的搭配描述語。

Omvat termen voor materialen die tot stand zijn gekomen door middel van weven, vervilten, knopen, twijnen of andersoortige bewerking van natuurlijke of synthetische vezels zodanig dat zij bijeenblijven in een vorm of eenheid. Van oudsher worden (hout)vezelplaat, papier, papier-maché en papyrus niet tot de textielmaterialen gerekend. Hoewel dit ook vezelproducten zijn, worden ze beschouwd als een apart type materiaal. Voor artikelen gemaakt van textielmaterialen zie de descriptoren gegroepeerd onder 'textilia'. |

Descriptor para la categoría general de materiales producidos mediante tejido a telar, enfieltrado, nudos, torcidos y otros procesos sobre fibras naturales o sintéticas, de modo que se unan para generar una forma o unidad. Se excluye tradicionalmente papel, papel-maché, lámina de fibras y papiro, los cuales, a pesar de ser productos de fibras, son considerados tipos de materiales diferentes.
