Note: General term for any glass used as a material that is not "blown glass," that is not shaped by blowing air through a blowpipe into a glob of molten glass. The term is used in situations where it may be assumed that the glass normally would be blown, but is not; also used to refer to glass as a raw material prior to being blown.
