Note: A liturgical document such as the 'Synodikon of Orthodoxy.' read aloud at particular feasts, especially in the Eastern Orthodox Church. It can also refer to a letter written from one patriarch to another to circulate the decrees of a patriarchal synod, or council. More broadly, it is a declaration signed by members of a synod, affirming decisions.

| Dutch ..... Een liturgisch document zoals het 'Synodikon van Orthodoxie' waaruit wordt voorgedragen of speciale feestdagen, met name in de oosters-orthodoxe kerk. De term kan ook verwijzen naar een brief van een patriarch aan een andere patriarch ter verspreiding van de besluiten van een patriarchale synode of raad. In bredere zin betreft het een verklaring die is ondertekend door leden van een synode ter bekrachtiging van genomen besluiten. |
