Note: Refers to the style and culture that is named after the site at Swidry, Poland, and existed in the areas of Poland, Romania, Russia, and elsewhere. It developed in the late Paleolithic Period, though it continued and flourished in the Mesolithic. It is particulalarly characterized by distinctive flint tools, including small, assymetrical tanged blades, arrowheads, and tranchet axes. It seems to be related to the Campignian culture that flourished further south. |

Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl en cultuur die is genoemd naar de archeologische vindplaats bij Swidry in Polen, en die voorkwam in Polen, Roemenië, Rusland en elders. Deze cultuur ontwikkelde zich in de laat Paleolithische periode, maar bleef bestaan en floreerde tot in het Mesolithicum. De cultuur wordt hoofdzakelijk gekarakteriseerd door kenmerkende vuurstenengereedschappen, waaronder kleine, asymmetrische, gekartelde snijers, pijlpunten, en slijpbijlen.Er lijken overeenkomsten te zijn met de Campagnische cultuur die zuidelijker floreerde. |

Se desarrolló en el Período Paleolítico tardío, aunque continuó y floreció en el Mesolítico. Se caracteriza particularmente por herramientas de sílex distintivas, que incluyen pequeños cuchillos asimétricos, puntas de flecha, y hachas con mango.
