Dutch ..... Zware stukken wapenuitrusting die aan de borstplaat zijn geschroefd en zijn gevormd naar de contouren van de linkerschouder, om ook de linkerkant van de borst en bovenarm te bedekken. De onderste rand steekt uit om ook de rechteronderarm, die de teugels vasthoudt, gedeeltelijk te beschermen. Ze werden gebruikt als versterkingsstukken voor een toernooiuitrusting. |
Spanish ..... Piezas de la armadura se atornillan sobre el pecho de la coraza, formando el contorno del hombro izquierdo y también para cubrir el lado izquierdo del pecho y del brazo superior, con el borde hacia fuera para proteger parcialmente el antebrazo izquierdo que sostenía las riendas. Sirvieron como piezas dobles para la armadura. |
