Verwijst naar een type marmeren beeldjes met gevouwen armen, die werden vervaardigd in de Cycladische archipel tijdens de vroeg Cycladische periode, grofweg tussen 2800 of 2600 en 2300 v. Chr. Dit type, genoemd naar de archeologische vindplaats, kenmerkt zich door een schoppenvormig hoofd, afgeronde contouren en een algemener gebruik van insneden om de anatomische details weer te geven. |
