| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar verschillende aardewerkstijlen van het eiland Thera, gekenmerkt door vazen die zijn gevonden bij Akrotiri. De stijl varieerde door de tijden heen, met vroegere ontwerpen die strikt geometrisch en lineair waren, terwijl latere ontwerpen picturale en geometrische vormen combineerden. Typische onderwerpen zijn:Krokussen, leliën, papyrus, palmbomen, geiten, vissen, zwaluwen en dolfijnen. Ogenschijnlijk werden bepaalde patronen alleen op bepaalde vazen gebruikt, wellicht bij wijze van aanduiding voor de inhoud. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere a estilos de cerámica de la isla de Thera, caracterizados por vasos encontrados en el sitio de Akrotiri. A través del tiempo el estilo varió, incluyendo los primeros diseños que son estrictamente geométricos y lineales y más tarde que combinan motivos pictóricos y geométricos. Los temas típicos incluyen azafranes, azucenas, papiro, palmeras, cabras, pescados, golondrinas, gaviotas y delfines. Al parecer, diseños particulares sólo se usaron en tipos específicos de jarrones, sirviendo quizás como etiquetas para sus contenidos. |
