Note: Refers to a Neolithic culture and style that began in the Ukraine around 3,000 BCE in the area between the Bug and Seret rivers, and extended to the Dnieper river. It is characterized by red and orange pottery decorated with distinctive grooved or painted curvilinear designs. It is also distinguished by villages made up of long, rectangular houses with a central enclosure for cattle, and often an agricultural practice involving shifting fields and frequent movement of the settlements. Some scholars classify Cucuteni and Tripolye as separate cultures.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指稱於西元前三千年開始，於烏克蘭境內布格河（Bug）與西瑞特河（Seret）之間地區發展，並且延伸至聶伯河（Dnieper）一帶的新石器時代文化與風格。此文化特徵為以獨特的溝槽凹線或彩繪曲線的設計圖案所裝飾而成的紅色與橘色陶器。此文化的的另一個著名特徵是由長方形房屋所組成的村落，中間圍有有牧牛用的圍場，此文化中的人民通常採游耕農業，同時經常性地遷徙聚落遷徙。部分學者將庫庫特尼與特里波里分為兩種不同的文化。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar een neolithische cultuur en stijl die begon in de Oekraïne rond 3000 v. Chr. in het gebied tussen de rivieren Bug en Seret en zich uitstrekte tot de Dnjepr. De cultuur kenmerkt zich door rood en oranje aardewerk, versierd met typische gegroefde of geschilderde kromlijnige ontwerpen. Ook kenmerkend zijn dorpen die bestaan uit lange, rechthoekige huizen met een centrale omheining voor vee, en een landbouwpraktijk waarbij velden en hele nederzettingen regelmatig werden verplaatst. Sommige geleerden beschouwen Cucuteni en Tripolye als afzonderlijke culturen. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere al estilo y cultura Neolítico que comienza en Ucrania alrededor del 3.000 a.C. en el área entre los ríos Bug y Seret, y que se extendió al río Dnieper. Se caracteriza por alfarería roja y anaranjada decorada con diseños curvilíneos distintivos acanalados o pintados. También se distingue por villas hechas de casas alargadas, rectangulares con un cerco central para el ganado, y a menudo práctica agrícola que involucra la alternación de los campos y el movimiento frecuente de los asentamientos. Algunos estudiosos clasifican Cucuteni y Tripolje como culturas separadas. |
