Dutch ..... Betrekkelijk kleine, vlakke of bijna vlakke, meestal geïsoleerde stukken land die duidelijk uitsteken boven het omringende land en zich kenmerken door steile erosiewanden rondom; kleiner dan plateaus, maar groter dan tafelbergen. 
German ..... Relativ kleine, in der Regel isolierte Landformation mit einer flachen oder fast flachen Spitze, die sich deutlich von der Umgebungslandschaft abhebt und an allen Seiten steile Erosionsabhänge zeigt; kleiner als eine Hochebene und größer als ein Härtling. 
Spanish ..... Macizo terrestre relativamente pequeño, por lo general aislado, con una cumbre plana o casi plana, que se yergue diferenciándose sobre el paisaje circundante, y que tiene laderas escarpadas por la erosión en todos sus lados; es más pequeño que las mesetas y más grande que los cerros testigos.
