Stabiltex (TM) (brand name materials, Brand Names (hierarchy name))
Note: Trademarked name for a sheer openweave monofilament polyester fabric produced until 2004. Stabiltex (TM) has been used as a support fabric in textile conservation, a polyester crepeline for covering fragile textiles. Tetex TR (TM), produced by Sefar, is essentially the same material.
Dutch ..... Merknaam voor een doorzichtig textiel met een open structuur van monofilamentpolyester, dat tot 2004 werd geproduceerd. Stabiltex werd wel gebruikt als ondersteuningsstof bij de conservering van textiel, als crêpevoering voor het bedekken van kwetsbare textielen. Tetex TR (TM), geproduceerd door Sefar, is in feite hetzelfde materiaal.
