| Chinese (traditional) ..... 以羊皮或牛皮進行簡易裝訂，少有花體字樣，西元十五到十八世紀的書商多以此裝訂方式進行小量販售，有別於西元十八世紀中期發展的量販精裝本裝訂（通常是機器製造的硬殼裝訂）則是大量印書，短期內銷售完畢。 |
| Dutch ..... Eenvoudige banden in schapeleer of kalfsleder, zelden van omslagtitel voorzien, besteld in kleine hoeveelheden door boekhandelaren uit de 15e tot 18e eeuw. Te onderscheiden van gelijkvormige 'uitgaafbanden' die op grote schaal werden geproduceerd (vaak met machinaal gemaakte boekbanden), in grote hoeveelheden aangebracht bij boeken waarvan werd verwacht dat ze snel en veel zouden verkopen, vanaf het midden van de 18e eeuw. |
