Spanish ..... Se refiere en un sentido general a búsquedas espirituales de la verdad escondida, cuyo objetivo es la unión con lo divino. También se refiere más específicamente a una creencia en la existencia de realidades trascendentes más allá de la comprensión perceptiva o intelectual, tales como intuición o meditación. Formas de misticismo son encontradas en todas las religiones mayores tanto como en la experiencia secular.
