Note: Style of architecture, interior design, furniture, or other works that evokes factories, machinery, or other elements of industry, particularly applicable when the work itself does not serve an industrial function. It is often nostalgic in sensibility, including elements of the turn-of-the-century industrial era or the mid-20th century factories, such as distressed wood, exposed bricks, building systems, industrial lighting fixtures, and exposed concrete.
