Note: Small cups indigenous to Scotland, with a bell-shaped bowl, the lower part of which is decorated with a calyx-type band of applied lobes giving them the appearance of a thistle; also includes a type of standing cup of which the bowl is in the form of a thistle, made in the 16th century.

Additional Notes:
Chinese (traditional) ..... 蘇格蘭本土製小型杯子,具鐘形杯碗,杯碗下部以花萼形條紋裝飾,而形似薊花;也包括一種十六世紀製之薊形杯碗立杯。 
Dutch ..... Kleine bekers met een klokvormige kom, waarvan het onderste gedeelte is versierd met een rand die doet denken aan een distel; oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit Schotland. Ook bekers op voet waarvan de cuppa de vorm heeft van een distel, vervaardigd in de 16e eeuw. Geen Nederlands equivalent. 
Spanish ..... Pequeños vasos originarios de Escocia, con un bol en forma de campana, cuya parte baja está decorada mediante una franja tipo cáliz con lóbulos aplicados dándoles la apariencia de un cardo; también incluye un tipo de copa de pie cuyo bol tiene la forma de un cardo, fabricadas en el siglo XVI.
