Note: Wood of the species Terminalia superba, native to West Africa. It ranges in color from pale straw to dark irregular grey markings; it is used for making solid parts of furniture, paneling, inlay, and musical instruments, famously the Gibson guitar. Dutch ..... Hout van de boom behorende tot de soort Terminalia superba, inheems in West-Afrika. De kleur van het hout is meestal licht strogeel, maar kan ook donkerder zijn, met onregelmatige grijze vlekken; het hout wordt gebruikt voor massieve delen van meubels en voor panelen en inlegwerk. 
Spanish ..... Madera del árbol perteneciente a la especie Terminalia superba, nativa de África occidental. Es típicamente de color paja pálido, pero a veces más oscura, con marcas grises irregulares. Se utiliza para las partes sólidas de muebles, para paneles y en incrustaciones.
