Note: A concept in the Indian tradition of aesthetics that refers to the aesthetic experience produced by a work of art. The term is sometimes translated as flavor, mood, or aesthetic delight. Theoreticians identified eight major moods: erotic, humorous, heroic, furious, piteous, wondrous, terrifying, and disgusting. A work of art had to have, in addition to a major mood, other features such as accompanying minor moods, determinants, and consequents; these features, in varying combinations, produced the overall aesthetic experience. Each of the eight rasas is associated with a specific color.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 印度傳統美學的概念,指作品會引發美感經驗。此詞彙有時翻譯為風味、情緒或美學愉悅,理論家辨識出八種主要情緒:情色的、幽默的、英勇的、狂怒的、可憐的、驚奇的、害怕的、噁心的。一個作品必須帶有至少一種主要的情緒,伴隨著其他附加的情緒、決心和結果。這些不同的組合的特徵產生在整體的美學經驗中,八種羅薩中的每一種情緒,都有其關連的特定的顏色。 
Dutch ..... Begrip uit de Indiase esthetische traditie dat verwijst naar de esthetische ervaring die een kunstwerk oproept. De term wordt soms vertaald als smaak, gemoedstoestand of esthetische verrukking. Theoretici onderscheiden acht hoofdstemmingen: liefde (of erotisch verlangen), humor, heldhaftigheid, woede, mededogen, verwondering, schrik en afschuw. Een kunstwerk diende naast een hoofdstemming ook secundaire stemmingen, determinanten en consequenten te hebben; de diverse combinaties waarin deze eigenschappen voorkomen, brengen de totale esthetische ervaring teweeg. Elke van de acht rasa's wordt geassocieerd met een bepaalde kleur. 
Spanish ..... Un concepto en la tradición india de la estética que refiere a la experiencia estética producido por una obra de arte. Los términos se traducen a veces como sabor, humor, o placer estético. Los teóricos identificaron ocho humores importantes: erótico, chistoso, heroico, furioso, piteous, maravilloso, aterrorizando, y disgustando. Una obra de arte tuvo que tener, además de un humor importante, otras características tales como acompañamiento de humores de menor importancia, determinantes, y consiguientes; estas características, en combinaciones que variaban, produjeron la experiencia estética total. Cada uno de los ocho rasas se asocia a un color específico.
