Note: Daggers widely used by German and Swiss landsknechts during the 16th century, having a hilt, often of steel, with a grip which flares at the top and a guard with a shell or side ring and two quillons, either straight or curving towards the blade. They were furnished with a sheath, typically made of metal and decorated with raised bands. |

Chinese (traditional) ..... 在十六世紀廣為德國與瑞士雇佣兵所使用的匕首,通常為鋼製的匕柄,把手在頂端呈喇叭狀展開,匕鍔則帶有罩子或側環,以及兩道護手鍔叉,呈筆直狀或呈弧形朝向匕刃。附有鞘套,通常為金屬製,並且有浮雕的帶狀裝飾。 |
Dutch ..... Dolken met afhangende stootplaten, in één geheel ontworpen met de metalen scheden, die voorzien zijn van geprononceerde ringen of banden; gebruikt door Duitse en Zwitserse landsknechten in de 16e eeuw. |
Spanish ..... Dagas ampliamente usadas por lansquenetes alemanes y suizos durante el siglo XVI; tienen un puño, a menudo de acero, con una empuñadura que se ensancha en la parte superior y una guarnición con una concha o argolla lateral y dos gavilanes, indistintamente derechas o curvándose hacia la hoja. Estaban provistas de una vaina, por lo común de metal y decorada con franjas en relieve. |
