Chinese (traditional) ..... 指人工建造的花園景物,自十六世紀開始,為法國和英國普遍的園藝造景。洞室的特色是模仿天然岩洞的人工開鑿洞穴或結構物,常用貝殼或彩色石頭等加以裝飾,用以作為休閒場所或清涼的靜養處。至於天然形成的景物,則稱之為「洞穴」或「山洞」。 |
Dutch ..... Verwijst naar kunstmatige tuinelementen die sinds de 16de eeuw veelvuldig zijn toegepast in Franse en Engelse landschapstuinen. Kenmerkend voor een grotto is dat hij is uitgegraven of geconstrueerd om op een rotsgrot te lijken. Een grotto is vaak gedecoreerd met schelpwerk, kleurige stenen enzovoort. Veelal fungeert hij als ontspanningsplek of als plaats om beschutting tegen de zon te vinden. Gebruik 'grotten' of 'spelonken' voor natuurlijke landschapselementen. |
