Note: Any substance held at or above its critical temperature and pressure in a fluid state. The properties of a supercritical fluid are intermediate between those of the substance in its gaseous and liquid states. De eigenschappen van een superkritische vloeistof houden het midden tussen die van een stof in vloeibare en gasvormige toestand.
