Zware helmen die het hoofd en gezicht volledig omsluiten, oorspronkelijk met een platte bovenkant, maar later met een kegelvormige of ronde bovenkant; werden gebruikt in oorlogsvoering vanaf het eind van de 12e tot halverwege de 14e eeuw en daarna nog tot halverwege de 16e eeuw in toernooien. |

Yelmo pesado, que encierra completamente la cabeza y el rostro, originalmente plano en su parte superior, aunque más tarde ésta llegó a ser cónica o redondeada; se empleó en la guerra desde finales del siglo XII hasta mediados del siglo XIV, y continuó en uso para los torneos hasta mediados del siglo XVI. |
