| Dutch ..... Activiteiten die ondernomen worden om de bescherming en het blijvende gebruik van de bebouwde omgeving te waarborgen, vanuit culturele, esthetische en historische overwegingen. Gebruik 'restauratie' voor activiteiten die specifiek worden ondernomen om een voorwerp, locatie of bouwwerk weer in historisch correcte staat terug te brengen. Gebruik 'behoud' voor algemene activiteiten die worden ondernomen om verdere verandering of verslechtering aan voorwerpen, locaties of bouwwerken te voorkomen.
