Chinese (traditional) ..... 將獸皮覆蓋於木構骨架上所製成的船隻,後期則以塗有焦油的帆布取代獸皮,船身呈現特殊的狹窄外形,船底向前翹起,且在舷弧上有明顯的稜角或艛端。有時船身相當於10公尺長,多建造於愛爾蘭地區,特別是西部海岸。 |
Dutch ..... Te gebruiken voor schepen, met een typerende smalle vorm, oorspronkelijk gemaakt van huid, later van geteerde canvas, gespannen over aanzienlijke houten spanten. De bodem van de boot loopt aan de voorkant omhoog en in de zeeg zit een diepe knik of onderbreking; soms wel 10 m lang; worden vooral aan de westkust van Ierland gebouwd. |
German ..... Schiff, das aus Fell oder später aus geteertem Segeltuch über einem stabilen Holzgerippe gebaut ist. Es hat eine markant schmale Form mit einem bugwärts ansteigenden Boden und im Aufriss einen eindeutigen Knick oder Einschnitt; manchmal bis zu 10m lang; gebaut in Irland, vor allem an der Westküste. |
Spanish ..... Úsese para buque construido de piel o, más tarde, de lona embreada, sobre un marco sustancial de madera y que tenía un forma estrecha distintiva, con el fondo elevándose hacia delante y un nudillo definida o interrupción en el arrufo; algunas veces tan grande como 10 m de largo, construida en Irlanda, particularmente en la costa oeste. |
