| Dutch ..... Draagbare stoelen die op twee lange palen steunen en meestal uitvoerig zijn gestoffeerd en gedecoreerd. Gebruik 'brancards' voor het vervoer van één persoon die meestal bestaan uit canvas of soortgelijk materiaal dat over een draagstel wordt gespannen of gelegd om zo zieken, gewonden of doden te vervoeren.
