Note: Heavy civilian daggers or short swords of 15th- and 16th-century Italy, characterized by a broad, flat double-edged triangular blade measuring five fingers in width at the hilt, a pair of short, arched quillons, a grip formed of two flat pieces riveted one on each side of the tang, and a pommel that is simply an arched cap fitted over the base of the grip. The blades are fluted and often elaborately decorated on the wider parts.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 十五及十六世紀義大利南部的民用厚重匕首或短劍，其特徵為寬闊扁平的雙邊三角形匕刃，匕柄處的匕刃寬度為五根手指寬，有一對短拱形的手部防護鍔叉，匕柄為兩個片狀物鉚接於柄腳兩側而成，匕柄端的圓球則僅是一個覆蓋在把手末端的拱形罩。匕刃有凹槽，在較寬的部分經常加以精心裝飾。 |

Cuchillos pesados usados por civiles o espadas cortas de la Italia de los siglos XV y XVI, caracterizados por una ancha hoja plana triangular de doble filo midiendo cinco dedos de ancho a la altura de la empuñadura, un par de gavilanes cortos y curvados, una empuñadura formada por dos piezas planas unidas con remaches una a cada lado de la espiga, y un pomo que es simplemente un tope curvo colocado sobre la base de la empuñadura. Las hojas son onduladas y a menudo están decoradas en forma elaborada en las partes más anchas. |
