Dutch ..... Een veelgebruikte, drogende olie die als oplosmiddel in verf wordt gebruikt; verhardt in de loop van enkele weken wanneer delen van de olie polymeriseren en een onoplosbaar bindmiddel vormen. 
Spanish ..... Aceite secante muy utilizado como medio de pintura. Se endurece en varias semanas en la medida que los componentes del aceite se polimerizan para formar una matriz insoluble.
