Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Wordt gebruikt voor snelwegen, al dan niet tolvrij, met meerdere rijstroken en een minimum aan verkeersborden. Hoewel de belangrijkste kruispunten ongelijkvloers zijn, kunnen er ook gelijkvloerse kruisingen voorkomen. 
German ..... Mehrspurige Straße mit Mittelstreifen und Ampeln nur dort, wo Ebenen an wichtigen Kreuzungen getrennt werden. Selten einmal findet sich auch ebenerdig eine Kreuzung. Manche dieser Straßen sind mautpflichtig, bei anderen ist die Nutzung gebührenfrei.  
Spanish ..... Úsese para designar una carretera dividida en múltiple carriles con un mínimo de señales de tráfico donde las categorías se encuentran separadas en intersecciones importantes, aunque puede haber algunos cruces de categorías. Puede ser de peaje o sin peaje.
