| Chinese (traditional) ..... 設計用於在海浪中航行或登陸的救生船，普遍為艏艉同形船，有顯著的弧舷、高船艉與一具船外舵桿，且有時會有一副帆具；早期的破浪艇以划槳推進，後期則有輔助動力裝備。 |
| Dutch ..... Reddingsboten die zijn ontworpen om door de branding te water gelaten en op het strand neergezet te worden. Ze zijn over het algemeen aan voor- en achterzijde gelijk met een aanzienlijke zeeg, hoge stevens, een buitenboordroer en soms tuigage voor zeilen; vroegere modelen werden nog geroeid, maar nieuwere beschikken over een hulpmotor. Geen Nederlands equivalent. Zie 'reddingsboten'. |
