Find out what it's like to be the person behind the camera from James Nachtwey, who has photographed headline news around the world for thirty years. Nachtwey will discuss his experiences in conjunction with the current exhibitions Pictures for the Press and Scene of the Crime: Photo by Weegee.

About James Nachtwey
James Nachtwey devotes himself to documenting wars, conflicts, and critical social issues throughout the world. He has worked on extensive photographic essays in Central America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Afghanistan, Africa, Eastern Europe, Bosnia, Kosovo, Brazil, and the United States, capturing images as searing as they are beautiful.

Nachtwey's work has been featured in solo exhibitions throughout Europe and the United States. He has received dozens of awards, and the National Press Photographers Association has named him Magazine Photographer of the Year seven times.
