(born Kansas City, Missouri, 1944) American filmmaker. Her six-monitor/six-channel video installation David Tudor's Ocean documents Tudor's mise en scène and performance of his electronic score Soundings: Ocean Diary with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company in June 1994 in Amsterdam. Davies produced the film of Jackie Matisse's underwater kites for the collaborative video piece Sea Tails (1983), with electronic sound by Tudor.
