Note: Patoromu built several canoes at Rotoiti and at cultivations at Onepoto, until 1864, when the Tai Rawhiti army arrived and most of the people retreated back to Rotoiti. Many of his figures, weapons, bowls, pipes, and walking sticks are in New Zealand museums.
