Note: His work is not easily placed as it differs from that of most other Campanian fish-plate painters. He paints the gills high up on the body of the fish, just behind the eye, instead of lower down closer to the ventral fins.

French ..... Peintre sur vase grec, actif entre 330 et 275 avant notre ère en Campanie. Son travail est difficile à replacer dans la mesure ou il diffère fortement de la plupart des autres artistes campaniens, a fortiori les peintres de plats à poisson. Il peint notamment les branchies très haut sur le corps, juste derrière les yeux, au lieu de les placer près des nageoires ventrales. 
Italian ..... Pittore su vasi greci, attivo tra 330 e 275 Avanti Cristo in Campania. Il suo lavoro è piuttosto difficile da classificare rispetto a gli altri artisti campani, specialmente per il modo di raffigurazione delle pesce.
