Note: Gonçalves attended Câandido Portinari's studio with Iberê Camargo. He studied engraving and drawing at Fundação Getúlio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro, with Carlos Oswald and Axl Leskoschek. In Paris, he attended the Académie Julian. In Brazil, he founded Clube de Gravura de Bagé, in Rio Grande do Sul. |
