|
Note: Hardison created bronze sculptures that memorialized notable African-American historical figures. Before becoming a sculptor she had a brief career as an actress on Broadway in the 1930s. She was a founding member of the Black Academy of Arts and Letters, 1969, studied at the Art Students League of New York. |
