Note: Julius H. Haass (1856-1931) was a Detroit banker and art collector. He was married to Lillian Martha Henkel Haass, who served as trustee and president of the Detroit Museum of Art Founders Society, was active with the Detroit Society of Arts and Crafts (president 1933-1938), member of the board of the Detroit Artist’s Market, and an active supporter of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. |
