Note: In the 1910s, MacAskill opened a photographic studio in Saint Peter's, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. He then opened a second studio in Glace Bay, Cape Breton Island. Before World War I, MacAskill moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he worked as a commercial and news photographer. He also specialized in marine photography. |
