Note: Zamroud studied interior architecture at the Lebanese American University before training with painter Louna Maalouf for seven years. Based in Beirut, he served as a board member of MASSYR, a nonprofit group that promotes Middle Eastern art practices. Many of Zamroud's paintings were drawn from photographs he took, and addressed Syria’s civil war. |
