Stereo-Travel Co. (American photography studio and publisher, established ca. 1904, dissolved 1916)

Note: Stereo-Travel Co. was organized ca. 1904 and specialized in the publishing of boxed sets of stereographs. By 1913, the company had assembled 26 tours of 100 cards each, consisting of photographs of places such as Sicily, New York City, Panama, Jamaica, Cuba, France, Italy, Japan and England. From 1909 to 1911 the series entitled "New York City" was created, focusing mainly on the people of the city. Stereo-Travel Co. also specialized in custom publishing for private organizations, such as the 1909 stereograph set entitled "Motor" which consisted of 60 views of the first Indianapolis 500 automobile race. Stereo-Travel Co. reached the height of its production in 1913 and discontinued business in 1916. |
