Gwon Sangha (Korean calligrapher and scholar, 1641-1721)
|
Note: Gwon Sangha was a calligrapher and scholar from the late Joseon period. Under the influence of his teacher Song Siyeol (1607-1689), he used the calligraphic style known as "Double Song" (referring to Song Jungil and Song Siyeol). However, Gwon's calligraphy is spaced more widely. His surviving creations include the inscription on the Tombstone of Seong Ram (1642), some writings in running and cursive scripts in ink, and letters in cursive script. |
