Note: Gwon Beol was a calligrapher and civil official from the early Joseon period. His calligraphic style emphasizes thick or thin and glossy or dry brushstrokes, which are characteristics of early Joseon cursive script. Among his works are "Chungjae ilgi" (Diary of Chungjae) and "Chungjaejip" (Collection of Literary Works by Chungjae) compiled in 1752. |
