Note: Doctor and writer born to Swedish parents in Chicago, he lived most his life in Sweden. Together with his wife Grace, he collectied extensively (Delacroix, Renoir, Picasso, Matisse, Braque, etc), much of which was donated to National Museum Stockholm.
