Kane, Bob (American comic artist, cartoonist, and painter, 1916-1998)
|
Note: Kane is best known as the creator and original artist of Batman, who first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in 1939. He also created the famous criminals "The Joker," "Catwoman," "The Penguin," and "The Riddler." Although Kane only drew the strip until the mid-1940s, his name would appear on it until 1964. He was also asked to helped with the delevlopment of the Batman television show in 1965. |
