Prince, George (American photographer, born 1848)
|
Note: From ca. 1864, Prince worked as a photographer at the Treasury Department in Washington D.C., under Lewis E. Walker. He was appointed Chief Photographer of the Treasury following T. H. O'Sullivan. In 1880, Prince worked as a photographer for the United States Coast and Geodesic Survey. In the late 1880s or 1890s, Prince had a photographic gallery in New York City. He then returned to Washington D.C. |
